WOODS is an ideal place to come as a group: with over 7.3 acres of room to roam and 3 types of accommodation,
we provide an unforgettable experience for your corporate retreat, family reunion, yoga retreat or just a simple getaway with your friends.
WOODS can accommodate up to 60 people onsite. Our largest units can house up to 6 people (max 4 adults plus children) for small groups while our other Airstreams and Cabins accommodate 4 guests (2 adults and 2 children). The Lodge has a variety of accommodations from double queen to single queen bedrooms.
COFFEE + KITCHEN is our onsite restaurant at WOODS. Modern casual food focusing on local, healthy, handcrafted food including an artisan style espresso bar serving Fernwood Coffee, Silk Road teas, homemade pastries and desserts. We serve gourmet breakfasts, great lunches and signature home cooked modern comfort food dishes along with thin crust pizzas.
Our tapas and charcuterie pairs well with a signature handcrafted cocktail list, a curated B.C. wine list by award winning wine consultant Kurtis Kolt and several local craft beers on tap.
COFFEE + KITCHEN can host sit down dinners up to 36 people and a bit larger for stand up cocktail receptions.
There are several venues that can accommodate larger food and beverage functions on Pender. The Community Hall and The Timbers can both accommodate up to 100 to 150 people.
There are a variety of experiences to highlight your Pender Island group booking or retreat. The can’t miss on Pender is some of the best kayaking in British Columbia, a top 5 disc golf course in the World, the freshest air, 32 public ocean access points and of course 7 beautiful onsite Airstreams.
Experience Pender Island from the water with Dog Mermaid Eco Excursions. Enjoy a group excursion and even get your BC kayaking certification just a 5 minute drive from WOODS.
Other adventures that might draw you around the Island include tours at the local Sea Star Winery, the new Twin Island Cidery , an executive 9-hole round of golf at Pender Golf Club and whale watching tours out of Thieves Bay. If you’re looking for a more self-guided experience, disc golfing a short hike away, a hike along Pender’s many trails, a swim in Magic Lake, a peek in the Nu-to-Yu thrift store and a stroll at Saturday’s Farmer’s Market will round out your Pender Island experience rather nicely!
