With ongoing restrictions and unpredictability Coffee + Kitchen will only be open for Coffee Bar Friday to Mondays 9am to 11am and Dinners Fri to Sun 5pm to 7pm. In July and August we will extend the Dinner hours to 5pm to 8pm and also do Coffee Bar Thursday mornings.
CAMP Truck is no longer onsite. We still own the brand and may launch again after Covid.

COFFEE + KITCHEN is the onsite restaurant at the WOODS on Pender Resort on Pender Island, British Columbia. Modern farm-to-table handcrafted food emphatically focused on local, healthy ingredients. We don’t use processed foods and focus on supporting local growers and suppliers that share our values. We have an onsite greenhouse where we grow our herbs and edible flowers.
At COFFEE + KITCHEN Restaurant we are committed to locally sourcing, growing or making our food onsite as much as possible and proud of the partners we’ve connected with.
Our beautiful Hall’s greenhouse sits next to the patio and is filled with a section of herbs and other greens used for our creative cocktails and kitchen dishes. We also do most of our own baking including our cinnamon buns, butter croissants, pizza dough and desserts. All our pasta, dumplings and gnocchi is made onsite by Pender Pasta. We also retail pasta, sauces, gelato and a few other items we make onsite at the Pender Island Market and in CAMP Truck and Coffee + Kitchen.
For group bookings, COFFEE + KITCHEN can host up to 30 people for a long table meal inside or on our large 512 sf concrete and cedar deck. We are licensed for up to 80 including our upstairs board game lounge.
Coffee + Kitchen focuses on local, healthy and fresh food made with high-quality, hand-picked ingredients. We provide our WOODS guests with a truly modern camping experience while provoking those emotions that make us feel nurtured, inspired and well cared for. We are an artisan coffee house by day serving Fernwood Coffee Company beans and Silk Road Teas. In the evening, we become a full kitchen with hand-crafted cocktails and a curated beverage list focusing on B.C. wines and a growing list of local craft beers.
The intention of our menu is to bring you back to those warm memories of the past with modern twists using healthy, locally sourced ingredients all made in-house.
Our bar and wine program focuses on sourcing local spirits and wines. We use lots of fresh-squeezed cucumber, lime, rosemary, lemon, edible flowers and lavender all grown onsite in our greenhouse.
Our signature cocktail list includes a Gin and Tonic with fresh squeezed cucumber juice and lime topped with our own citrus sea salt and cracked pepper. We have a Spiked Lemonade with rosemary from our greenhouse, a Gulf Mule, a Vancity Vesper, a Pender Sour, an Affogato with Baileys, a Lavender Marg and a Walter’s Caesar Mix Caesar with Son’s of Vancouver Chili Vodka and a skewer of pickles and paprika salt from Vancouver Island Salt Co. We also have Macallams, Smokey Bourbon, Limoncello and a few other tasty shots to keep you warm on cold nights.
We have 7 amazing estate wines on tap all from British Columbia.

Our full coffee bar proudly serves Fernwood Coffee and Silk Road teas from Victoria. Cold, fresh lemonade is made daily with Philosopher’s Brew Herbal Tea, agave syrup, fresh lemon juice, mint and lavender. At night we take the same lemonade and spike it with Fermentoreum Stump Forest Floor Gin, from Phillips new distillery in Victoria.
